My yoga journey began about 25 years ago when I first experienced asana practice in small group classes in Toronto. I also started studying Buddhism – reading books on my own, studying at Nalanda College in Toronto, and participating in Vipassana retreats. The self-awareness, experiential, insight teachings that I learned through Buddhism and the personal growth that comes from building self-awareness is a core value that I have brought into my teaching practice.
